Build. Code. Compete.

Our Mission

We help students grow as curious problem‑solvers through friendly, hands‑on robotics. Together we design, build, and program LEGO robots while practicing creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration.

How FIRST LEGO League Works

FIRST LEGO League welcomes students into real‑world engineering through a yearly themed challenge. Teams explore a problem, design and build a LEGO robot, program it to complete missions, and share their ideas with supportive judges. It feels like a science fair meets robotics—collaborative, encouraging, and all about learning by doing. Our team participates in the FIRST LEGO League Challenge division.

What Students Learn

Students develop both technical and people skills—mechanical design, sensors, programming logic, planning, testing, and documentation—while practicing collaboration, presentation, and resilient problem‑solving. Along the way, they build confidence and curiosity.

Safety & Code of Conduct

We work to create a safe, welcoming space for every student. We follow FIRST’s Youth Protection Program (YPP): all coaches and regular mentors complete background screening; at least two screened adults are present at every meeting and event; and one‑on‑one interactions are avoided unless they are observable and interruptible. We use a simple check‑in/out, keep clear build/test safety rules, and foster a culture of respect and inclusion. Students and parents can report any concern to the coaches (and, when appropriate, school administration) at any time.

Our Core Values

We’re proud to be guided by the FIRST LEGO League Core Values — they inspire how we build, learn, and work together.

  • Discovery: We explore new skills and ideas.

  • Innovation: We use creativity and persistence to solve problems.

  • Impact: We apply what we learn to improve our world.

  • Inclusion: We respect each other and embrace our differences.

  • Teamwork: We are stronger when we work together.

  • Fun: We enjoy and celebrate what we do!
